A multi-talented sportswoman who represented her province in netball, athletics, biathlon and lifesaving, Kapp also became the first female cricketer alongside Dane van Niekerk to be included in the Eastern Province Cricket Academy where she trained alongside male cricketers. She has appeared for South Africa in all three forms of the game, making her international debut in the 6th match of the ICC Women's World Cup in 2009 against Australia. Her T20I debut was also against Australia in a World Twenty20 game the same year. Kapp carried her impressive form into the next Women's World Cup as well, posting 102* against Pakistan and being a part of a record 128-run stand with Dane van Niekerk during the course of her innings. This resulted in two South African records - the highest ever partnership and individual score by a South African at Women's World Cups.
