Andre Russell

Another West Indian who is forging a stellar career in the shortest format of the game, Andre Russell has already been signed for T20 squads in four nations and most recently with Sydney Thunder in BBL|06. A damaging batsman capable of clearing the world’s biggest boundaries, his career strike rate sits above 160.  Russell also bowls at a handy pace with the ability to rip through the attacks despite having an expensive economy rate.  Russell played one Test, 51 ODIs and 43 T20Is for West Indies.

In 2014 he began a second career as a recording artist under the name 'Dre Russ'.
