Balapuwaduge Mendis
Jeevan Mendis was a valuable member of the Sri Lankan squad in the shorter forms of the game. He broke in to the one-day international team in 2010. He took career best figures of 3-15 against New Zealand in 2012 and will be eager to make an impact on his first ICC Cricket World Cup. Mendis played 54 ODIs and made 604 runs and took 28 wickets.
He comes from a cricketing family, with his father Jagath and brother Tharindu also playing for his school, St Thomas' College.
