Alex Hales
Top-order batsman Alex Hales has represented England in all three formats. He has been an important member in limited-overs cricket, where he has made centuries in both formats. Hales made his Twenty20 debut in mid-2011 against India and continued earning caps in the shortest form of the game. He came close to being the first England player to score a Twenty20 century in June 2012 when he fell for 99 against West Indies, while his unbeaten 116 came in March 2014 against Sri Lanka. Hales' one-day international debut came in August 2014, where he has made five centuries with a high score of 171. Hales' Test debut came in December 2015 but he hasn't been able to convert his limited-overs form to the Test arena just yet.
His grandfather Dennis once forced Rod Laver to five sets at Wimbledon.
