Jean-Paul Duminy
Having been identified as a potential star at a young age, JP Duminy made his one-day international debut in 2004. But it took another three years for the batsman to cement his spot in the batting line-up, due to a combination of inconsistent performances and South Africa’s strong batting line-up. The left-hander become a regular in the ODI side from 2007 onwards, building a solid average of more than 37 throughout his career to date. An energetic fielder, Duminy has also proved to be a handy spin bowler, giving some assistance to South Africa’s strong line-up of quicks. He has taken more than 40 wickets in Tests and more than 60 in ODI's.
In his Test debut he scored an unbeaten fifty to help South Africa chase 414 in Perth against Australia.
