OUT! Caught. Yasir Shah to Abu Jayed. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, top edge in the air uncontrolled to short third man, by Shafiq. Filthy swipe, it balloons straight up and Shafiq has a safe pair of hands. Pakistan complete a very impressive victory. A clinical Pakistan performance has resulted in an innings and 44 run victory over Bangladesh in Rawalpindi. Their bowlers got things rolling on the opening day, maintaining consistency to keep pressure on the touring batsmen despite fairly placid conditions. Shaheen Afridi bagged four wickets and then it was all about Shan Masood and Babar Azam. A pair of classy centuries gave the hosts a massive first innings lead and even an impressive effort from the Tigers on Sunday wasn't enough to bring them back into contention. Naseem Shah provided the moment of the match with a sublime hat-trick, delivering reverse swing at high pace in front of a jubilant crowd. Yasir Shah put the cherry on top of the cake with four wickets of his own, completing the win on the morning of Day Four. There is a long break now before the Second Test in April, so attention will turn to the PSL for Pakistan while Bangladesh will be heading back home to play Zimbabwe.

OUT! L.B.W. Yasir Shah to Liton Das. Leg spinner half volley, to leg on the front foot sweeping, hit pad to. That looks very close, too full to sweep and the ball skids underneath Liton's bat. As soon as the umpire says not out Pakistan want to review it. Ball tracking shows why they were so excited, it's stone dead and Liton has to go. Yasir enjoyed that one, he was one step ahead of the batsman and got his man. Just one wicket left now.

FOUR! Yasir Shah to Mohammad Mithun. Leg spinner back of a length, off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Fractionally short and that is all Mithun needs to unleash a powerful swipe. That takes him past fifty, it's been a really valuable knock for the visitors.

FOUR! Haris Sohail to Taijul Islam. Stock length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled past long off for 4 runs. Skewed over the top, Taijul happy to take the aerial route although not the cleanest strike. As the shadows lengthen in Rawalpindi it's time for the players to take a drink. This partnership is really frustrating the hosts but they will have a new ball available very soon.

FOUR! Yasir Shah to Mohammad Mithun. Leg spinner back of a length, middle stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. That's a gift, Mithun has ample time to go deep in the crease and smash it over the top. He's approaching fifty and fully deserves it after digging deep for his country.

FOUR! Yasir Shah to Taijul Islam. Googly back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot defending, thick edge past third man for 4 runs. Squirted awkwardly off the edge, Taijul didn't pick that wrong'un but he gets away with it. Boundaries coming regularly for this pair.

FOUR! Shaheen Afridi to Mohammad Mithun. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. FOUR! Yasir Shah to Taijul Islam. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. Given plenty of air and Taijul's eyes light up. It's not easy to drive against the turn but he got that right off the meat of the bat.

FOUR! Haris Sohail to Liton Das. Stock ball short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Dragged down, easy pickings for Liton to rock back and pick his spot. Pakistan only have four frontline bowlers so they are forced to turn to the part-time spin of Haris and Liton is licking his lips.

FOUR! Mohammad Abbas to Liton Das. Length ball, off stump on the front foot working, well timed past deep square leg for 4 runs. FOUR! Yasir Shah to Liton Das. Leg spinner back of a length, off stump on the back foot flick, well timed past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Beautiful shot, spotting the length early and rocking back to send it screaming through mid wicket with a flourish. The pitch has definitely flattened out this afternoon and it looks ideal for batting now.

FOUR! Naseem Shah to Liton Das. Short, down leg side on the back foot hooking, well timed in the air under control past fine leg for 4 runs. The trap is set with two men deep on the legside and Liton is still happy to take on the short ball. Brilliant execution earns him his fourth boundary of the afternoon.

FOUR! Naseem Shah to Liton Das. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep point for 4 runs. Wonderful stroke, the ball rockets to the rope as Liton holds the pose. He found the fielder at cover with his previous drive so this time opens the face of the blade slightly more to find the gap with surgical precision. Two wickets in that hour leaves Pakistan firmly on top, however Bangladesh are mounting a recovery through Mithun and Liton. Time for some hydration in the Rawalpindi sunshine.

FOUR! Yasir Shah to Mohammad Mithun. Leg spinner back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, top edge past third man for 4 runs. Four more, frustration for the bowler with the ball flying quickly past the helpless slip fielder. Mithun hasn't been convincing but he's hanging in there.
44.3
4
FOUR! Yasir Shah to Mohammad Mithun. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump on the back foot driving, thick edge past third man for 4 runs. Yasir has his hands on his head but Mithun was never really in any danger there with the ball slicing off the outer half of the blade. Too much width on offer for the right-hander.

FOUR! Shaheen Afridi to Liton Das. Half volley, down leg side on the front foot working, well timed past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Tidy stroke, turning his hands at the last moment to clip the ball into the wide open space on the legside. Liton will score quickly if he gets going.

FOUR! Shaheen Afridi to Liton Das. Seaming in length ball, middle stump no foot movement defending, inside edge past fine leg for 4 runs. Fortune for Liton first up, he didn't know too much about that and the ball misses off stump by a whisker. Shaheen can't believe it.

FOUR! Mohammad Abbas to Mahmudullah. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot driving, well timed past deep backward point for 4 runs. It's not often you get a delivery like this from Abbas so it's important to make full use of it. Mahmudullah does exactly that by carving the ball elegantly to the fence. Important runs for the tourists, Mahmudullah is key from this position.
