Over 18. 1 run. Bowler: Nathan Ellis. Sydney Thunder: 10-128(rr 7.11)

W
OUT! Run Out. Nathan Ellis to Liam Bowe. Full toss, off stump backing away driving, to mid off, fielded by Wright. A rapid end to this one as they attempt a quick single and Mac Wright makes no mistake with a direct hit. 8 wickets in 32 balls and a vital win for the Hurricanes. The big names stepped up today when it was required for the home side, Wade with a half century and Short with 5 wickets. To make the evening worse for the Thunder the large nature of the defeat means the Hurricanes move above them into the 5th and final playoff spot.
17.2
W
OUT! Bowled. Nathan Ellis to Gurinder Sandhu. Yorker, middle stump backing away driving, missed to. A lovely yorker from Ellis, Sandhu backed away and stood little chance

OUT! Caught. D'Arcy Short to Arjun Nair. Left-Arm Leg Spin length ball, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Miller. Wicket! Nair caught by Miller, like Ross, this time though Nair doesn't catch it at all well, simple take for Miller in the deep, Hobart have pretty much won this one.
16.3
4
FOUR! D'Arcy Short to Arjun Nair. Left-Arm Leg Spin length ball, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. Back foot cut into the gap, some fielders are in the ring on the off-side so there is a chance of getting boundaries cutting and driving the ball.

Lenton out now, Thunder looking down and out, Short with another wicket, superb bowling from the Australian international. Wright takes the diving catch to put more pressure on Ross, the slog-sweep just doesn't work for Lenton, not timed at all well.
