OUT! Caught. Pat Cummins to Nuwan Pradeep. Half volley, down leg side backing away driving, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Pradeep gets caught behind trying to drive the ball back to the bowler. That wicket brings the game to a close with Australia coming out victors. At the start of the Sri Lanka innings you sensed they could pull this off, they were scoring at a great rate and hadn't conceded a wicket. But once Kusal was dismissed the tables turned and they were struggling to get runs. For Sri Lanka this is another game where they have failed to bat for 50 overs, for Australia another win, and another good performance, a spot in the top four is looking even more realistic now.

OUT! Run Out. Isuru Udana to Pat Cummins. Yorker, middle stump on the back foot defending, to silly mid on, fielded by Tillakaratna. Udana gets another run out! Again good bowling from Udana to makes sure Cummins didn't get a run. He takes the ball on the leg-side and lasers the ball to the strikers end. Another great piece of fielding from the Sri Lankan.

W
OUT! Run Out. Isuru Udana to Glenn Maxwell. Slower ball half volley, down leg side on the front foot pushing, to silly mid on, fielded by Tillakaratna. A great piece of bowling and fielding there from Udana. A great slower ball cramps Maxwell for room, he receives the ball from the push and lines up the non-strikers end beams the ball into the stumps.

OUT! Caught. Isuru Udana to Shaun Marsh. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, top edge in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Siriwardana. Another wicket for Sri Lanka. This time Marsh mis-times the slog to the leg-side boundary and is caught near the ropes at mid-wicket. Marsh didn't look comfortable at the crease and that showed in the way he got out.

OUT! Bowled. Lasith Malinga to Steven Smith. Yorker, middle stump on the back foot working, missed to. Malinga gets the wicket of Smith. A beautiful yorker coming through at an awkward angle cramps Smith up.

W
OUT! Caught. Isuru Udana to Aaron Finch. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump backing away pulling, top edge in the air uncontrolled to extra cover, by Karunaratne. Finch has gone! The slower ball does the trick as Finch top-edges one straight to cover. A great innings comes to an end, he will be disapointed he didn't get Australia to 300 but the rest of the batsmen should get them over the 320-330 mark.

W
OUT! Caught. Dhananjaya de Silva to Usman Khawaja. Off break half volley, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Tillakaratna. The pressure had been building for Khawaja having faced a few hostile balls and not scoring at a good rate. Reacting to the pressure he heaves one to the leg-side boundary but doesn't get enough on the ball for it to go for six.

OUT! Bowled. Dhananjaya de Silva to David Warner. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, missed to. The breakthrough for Sri Lanka. Warner goes for 26. Warner tries to cut the full ball away but the ball just drifts on to middle stump. A much needed wicket for Sri Lanka.

OUT! Caught. Kane Richardson to Isuru Udana. Back of a length, outside off stump on the front foot pulling, top edge in the air uncontrolled to long off, by Finch. Udana flat bats the shorter delivery to Finch who is chasing the ball to try and take the catch at mid-off.

W
OUT! Caught. Mitchell Starc to Kusal Mendis. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, outside edge in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Mendis gets a thin edge off the wider pitched ball and is caught behind. The extra pace across Mendis means he feathers it through. The Sri Lankan innings is pretty much finished.

OUT! Caught. Mitchell Starc to Thisara Perera. Length ball, off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled, by Warner. Two this over. Thisara goes now driving a full ball straight to mid-on. Warner takes a tumble, but takes the catch.
36.2
W
OUT! Bowled. Mitchell Starc to Milinda Siriwardana. Length ball, off stump on the back foot working, hit pad to. Two in quick succession with Milinda departing now. He gets a pad on the ball which is going down leg, and that deflection takes the bails off the stumps.

OUT! Caught. Pat Cummins to Angelo Mathews. Back of a length, middle stump on the back foot hooking, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Mathews' cameo comes to an end with him getting caught behind trying to hook a short ball away on the leg-side. It's hard to see Sri Lanka winning this one from here.

OUT! Caught. Kane Richardson to Dimuth Karunaratne. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, to backward point, by Maxwell. Wicket! The big one, Dimuth gets caught trying to cut one past the man at backward point but he drops it straight to him. Pretty poor way to get out. Australia in the ascendancy.

OUT! Caught. Jason Behrendorff to Lahiru Thirimanne. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by Carey. Just after the boundary Thirimanne gets dismissed. He cramps himself for room here and manages to only get the shoulder of the bat on it. Carey takes the simple catch.

OUT! Bowled. Mitchell Starc to Kusal Perera. Half volley, off stump on the front foot driving, missed to. The breakthrough has come finally. Kusal gets clean bowled trying to drive Starc. The ball goes straight through the gate. That partnership was very valuable for Sri Lanka, now it's time for their middle order to perform and get a result.
